Two people are on a lone boat, lost on the sea. They try everything they can to figure out the way to the land. When two people are on the same lone boat, one is often pessimistic about the journey, whereas the other tries hard to provide encouragement and consolation.

Our body is like this lone boat, and “positivity” and “pessimism” symbolize the two people with conflicting mindsets on the boat. Positivity often calms pessimism down, whereas pessimism is often frustrated because of its obsession. Positivity sincerely tells pessimism, “If you will, follow me. Let me guide you through this vast world.” The interactions between “positivity” and “pessimism” often happen on the boats of ourselves.
