2024年4月3日，一場芮氏規模7.2級的強震無情地撼動了花蓮大地。為太魯閣國家公園內的砂卡礑步道帶來了嚴重的毀滅，山崩地裂，滿目瘡痍。砂卡礑，我曾三度造訪這條美麗的步道，每一次的探訪，都讓我深深感受到自然的偉大與人類的渺小。如今，這片土地經歷了巨大的變故，讓人不禁思考自然的力量與無常。

 

在此畫作中，我試圖捕捉那瞬間的美麗與永恆的詩意。透過筆墨，我將心中的感動轉化為具象的藝術作品，傳達我對砂卡礑的懷念與致敬，願我們在這畫作中，找到一絲心靈的慰藉，並在未來的某一天，再次見證砂卡礑的美麗重現。

April 3, 2024, a strong earthquake measured 7.2 on the Richter scale rocked Hualien relentlessly. It severely destroyed the Sakatang (Shakadang) Trail in the Taroko National Park, with rocks falling from the mountains and the ground splitting open. The site was devastated. I have visited the beautiful trail of Sakatang three times. I deeply felt the greatness of nature and the insignificance of humans during each of the visits. Today, the land has experienced a major incident, urging us to respect the power and unpredictability of nature.

In this painting, I try to capture the beauty of the moment and its poetic eternity. With the ink and brush, I turn the touching feeling in my heart into a tangible artwork to reminisce and pay tribute to the Trail. I hope that we can all find spiritual comfort in this painting and once again witness the beauty of Sakatang one day.
