蕭宇倢，畢業於國立臺灣師範大學美術系研究所。創作以物質之特殊性為主軸，專注於探索宣紙的材質氣氛及隱藏其中的細微變化，她試圖賦予紙張新意，擺脫傳統樣板的限制，透過噴灑、皺褶、揉捏等作法使宣紙展現豐富的視覺層次，以冷靜理性的思維構建視覺結構，同時平衡創作中不可控的感性表現。她欲透過創作，喚起觀者對那些無法言說卻真實存在事物的感知。

Yu Chieh Hsiao holds a master's degree in fine arts from the National Taiwan Normal University. Focusing on the unique properties of materials, she specializes in exploring the texture and features of Xuan paper and the hidden subtle differences in it. She intends to create new meanings for the paper and break the limits of the traditional templates. Presenting diverse layers of visual effects by spraying liquid on, creasing, and kneading Xuan paper, she calmly and rationally builds visual structures and balances the uncontrollable sentimental expressions during the process of creation. With art creations, she hopes to waken the audience’s perceptions of the indescribable but existing things.
