宣紙在現代弱化了原有的紀錄功能，仍以古物的姿態存在著。創作中為了凸顯宣紙特有的輕薄、樸拙的氣氛以及墨色溫潤、細膩的特質，透過噴灑、折疊、避免過多裝飾性元素等手法，在可控、秩序感、隨機和不穩定之間處理物質的多種樣態，該做法不僅形成視覺上的趣味，層疊的效果使紙張間產生些微的高低起伏或更為粗糙的表面，保留工整平面的同時堆疊起視覺上的厚度，欲展現宣紙在現代作為古物所能表現的特殊氣質及趣味性，並運用媒材本身之物質性推展創作，發掘隱藏在平面與立體之間的變化，提供觀者對物件更豐富的體驗。

Xuan paper’s function as a recording tool is diminishing in modern days, yet it still exists as a product of ancient times. To demonstrate Xuan paper’s unique lightness and earthiness and the ink color’s warmth and delicacy, the artist implements techniques such as spraying and folding and avoids overly using decorative elements, dealing with various patterns of the materials under control, order, randomness, and stability. These techniques help create an interesting visual effect. The layered effect creates undulations or a rougher surface. While the surface remains neat, there is also some thickness. The artist hopes to showcase the unique and interesting qualities of Xuan paper as a product of ancient times in modern days. She also hopes to promote creations by using the materiality of the media and discover the hidden differences between planar and solid forms, providing the audience with a richer experience in observing objects.
