陳肇彤的作品常以空間、材質及物件所釋放出的視覺特徵來作為素材，並透過擷取、挪移、透析、複製等技法，探索視窗化的視覺經驗與實體之間的誤差，並將這誤差作為情感與記憶的寄託。近期關注城市及生活空間中的視覺表面架構與其使用者之間的關係，試圖從規格化及功能性的日常生產結構逃逸出來，以書寫潛藏於表面下的空間詩句。

Chao-Tung Chen often uses the visual characteristics of space, textures, and objects as materials and explores the differences between a real object and its look through a window with techniques such as retrieval, moving, chromatography, and copying. These differences serve as a storage room for feelings and memories. Recently, he has focused on the relationship between the visual surface framework and its users in cities and living spaces. He attempts to escape from the standardized and functionalized daily production framework so as to depict the poem of the space that hides under the surface.
